The beds edging the grass-and-stone pathway to the front door of the farmhouse are filled with a jumble of flowers that includes bleeding hearts, tulips, tall bearded irises, roses, and peonies.
If stepping stones lead garden-goers through dirt rather than grass, try filling the space in between with low-lying plants. Even if they spill over onto the stones, the resulting mounds of vegetation are visually stunning.
i would like the two beds in the front of the house next to the pavers like this- no stacking of separation
